Award-Winning HLM Websites & Ad Creative

HLM was recently recognized by Graphic Design USA, an industry-leading trusted source of news and info for graphic designers and the creative community for 60 years, located on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan NYC.

HLM won 7 GDUSA awards for our outstanding work on five websites, one display ad campaign, and one Facebook ad campaign. Read on to see the winners!

Winning Website #1: McWane Science Center (https://mcwane.org/)

The McWane Science Center is a renowned attraction for curious individuals of all ages and walks of life in Birmingham, Alabama.

With extensive programs, permanent exhibits, traveling exhibits, regular events, and a top-of-the-line IMAX Dome theater that screens current movies just like any other theatre, McWane Science Center has something to interest anyone.

Whether you're a local that hasn't made time to visit yet, or you're just passing through town, the McWane Science Center is absolutely something to carve out time for.

Winning Website #2: Addo Wellness Institute (https://addowellnessinstitute.com/)

Helmed by Daniela Woerner of Addo Aesthetics and host of the wonderful Spa Marketing Made Easy podcast, this award-winning HLM website is focused on providing spa owners with the ability to train their staff (or those seeking placement in certain spa industry job positions), on various topics, such as general spa management, social media management for spas, spa receptionist skills, and more.  

Winning Website #3: Red Rock Realty Group (http://redrockrg.com/)

This is a new website HLM built for a longer-term real estate & property management client based out of Birmingham, AL.

Focusing on both residential and commercial properties, Red Rock handles most property needs & services, such as brokerage services, development, multi-family management, HOA management, single-family home property management, and more.

Winning Website #4: Motor City Grow Systems (http://motorcitygrowsystems.com/)

HLM doesn't work with just the Home Services and Healthcare industries. Our second-to-last award-winning website featured today is for a business that provides custom-built, high-quality grow room solutions for the emerging cannabis industry.

Based in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Motor City Grow Systems provides grow rooms, cleanrooms, cultivation coolers, and more, to suit a wide variety of individual cannabis business needs.

They also offer shipping to all 50 states, plus Mexico and Canada, and their product is uniquely scalable and expandable for future business growth.

Winning Website #5: Free Heat Pump (https://freeheatpump.com/)

We know, something with the word "free" in it sounds almost too good to be true - but trust us, there's some real-world incentives and options for having a new heat pump installed in your home at a heavily discounted price - and in some cases, even completely free!

It's all related to recent government incentives and tax breaks designed to promote the adoption and installation of more energy-efficient home heating and cooling solutions.

HLM was able to help Free Heat Pump create a website dedicated to spreading the word about this opportunity and aid an environmentally-friendly cause - all while winning an award in the process. 

Winning Display Ad Campaign: Royal Restoration (https://restorewithroyal.com/)

With a need to execute on an advertising campaign, among other services and marketing tactics, HLM accomplished a Display Ad campaign for Restoration Royal, a full-service disaster restoration company.

Royal Restoration handles all types of disaster-related restoration services, such as water damage, fire damage, storm damage, mold restoration, and more.

They also help many different types of industries with these needs, such as property management, senior living, healthcare & hospitality, education, government, industrial & manufacturing, and single-family housing, among others.  

Winning Facebook Ad Campaign: University of Alabama at Birmingham (https://uab.edu/)

Here's yet another example a long-term HLM client we've consistently helped with their marketing needs. This time, The University of Alabama at Birmingham needed help with a Facebook Ad campaign centered around their Cardiovascular unit.

Fun fact about this client - not only did HLM receive a design award for this campaign, but we were also cited in a UAB study for another advertising effort surrounding a UAB breast cancer survivor recruitment effort. Check out the study here.
