At HLM, we believe that connection, creativity, and a little adventure go a long way—especially in a remote-first world. That’s why every summer, our team looks forward to one of our favorite cultural traditions: Dare Week.
Now in its fourth year, Dare Week has grown into a vibrant celebration of what makes our team special. Designed to spark fun, engagement, and community across the company, it challenges HLMers to step outside their routines (and their comfort zones) with a lineup of playful dares—many of which involve exploring the outdoors, trying something new, or including family in the fun.
But this year, we’re taking it even further. With a new twist that allows team members to craft their own dares, 2025’s Dare Week is all about putting a personal spin on adventure.
What started as an idea from our Culture Committee during the early days of remote work has evolved into something much bigger: a joyful reminder that building connection isn’t limited by geography—it’s sparked by shared moments, inside jokes, and collective creativity.
From silly string battles and summer playlists to backyard bonfires and spontaneous day trips, Dare Week is our way of celebrating the season together, no matter where we are.
Because at HLM, we don’t just work remotely—we connect boldly.
