Each Tuesday, we send out a prompt via our internal Slack channels with a thought-provoking or humorous question. These questions range from light-hearted topics - like whether pineapple belongs on pizza - to more passionate debates surrounding whether you're Team Swift or Team Beyoncé.
The goal is to engage our team members in conversations that go beyond work, allowing them to connect on a more personal level.
In today’s remote work environment, it can be challenging to replicate the spontaneous interactions and camaraderie that naturally occur in an office setting.
Hot Take Tuesdays provide a virtual space for these interactions, fostering a sense of community and connection among our team members.
These discussions allow everyone to share their opinions, learn more about their colleagues, and have fun in the process.
Since launching Hot Take Tuesdays, our team members look forward to the weekly prompts, and the ensuing discussions often spill over into other communication channels, further strengthening our team bonds.
These conversations have become a highlight of the week, offering a welcome break from the daily grind and an opportunity to connect with colleagues in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
At High Level Marketing, initiatives like Hot Take Tuesdays are crucial in maintaining a strong, connected, and engaged workforce. In a virtual world, it’s these moments of connection that remind us we’re part of a vibrant, dynamic team.
We’re excited to see what new debates and discussions the future holds, and invite other companies to consider similar initiatives to keep their teams connected and engaged.
We’re always on the lookout for new and exciting questions to keep the conversation fresh. Do you have a Hot Take Tuesday idea? Whether it’s a quirky question or a fun debate, we’d love to hear it! Share your ideas and join us in keeping the spirit of Hot Take Tuesdays alive and thriving.
