At High Level Marketing, we believe in creating a culture where our team not only excels but also has a lot of fun along the way. Last week, we hosted a High School-inspired Spirit and Homecoming Week that took everyone back to simpler times while celebrating the values and hard work that make HLM a fantastic place to work. The event was filled with camaraderie, creativity, and a chance to honor those who embody HLM’s core values by nominating them for our very own Homecoming Court.
Throwback to High School with Spirit Week
Our week kicked off with a message to the entire team outlining the week's themes and encouraging nominations for the HLM Homecoming Court. The criteria? Simple but meaningful:
- Does this person live HLM’s core values?
- Do they go above and beyond to support others across the company?
- Are they the face of HLM in their everyday actions?
Nominations poured in, and as the week unfolded, so did the fun! Each day had its own theme:
- Monday - Zoom yearbook photos were in full swing, and we got to see some amazing throwbacks!
- Tuesday - HLMers shared their high school Homecoming photos in our HLM Happenings Slack channel—hello, nostalgia!
- Wednesday - We brought back the tunes with senior class songs and playlists from our final school days.
- Thursday - The team showed up in their “senior year” outfits, followed by an all-team happy hour where the HLM Homecoming Court was revealed. We spent time reminiscing about those iconic senior year moments.
- Friday - We wrapped up the week by donning HLM colors, proudly showing off our company spirit!

Nostalgic Fun: Reflecting on Our High School Years
The celebration didn’t stop with the Homecoming Court. To add a little extra fun, we took a trip down memory lane and answered some of the biggest questions from our high school days:
- Who was the biggest pop star when you graduated?
- What was the hottest movie out?
- What cutting-edge technology were you obsessed with?
- Was there a sitcom you always watched?
- What major world event shaped your final school year?
- What was the best—or worst—fashion trend you rocked?
These conversations brought so many laughs and helped us bond over shared memories. It was a reminder that while we’ve all grown and evolved, our high school spirit still lives on!
